When is the best time to schedule a maternity session?
The ideal time for a maternity session is between 28-34 weeks when your baby bump is beautifully rounded, but you’re still comfortable enough to move and pose. If you’re expecting multiples, an earlier session (around 26-30 weeks) may be better.
Do you offer outdoor or studio maternity sessions?
I offer both! We can shoot in a beautiful outdoor location with natural light or in a controlled studio setting for a more intimate and classic feel. Let’s chat about your vision!
Can my partner and other children be included in the session?
Absolutely! Maternity sessions are a wonderful time to capture the excitement of your growing family. Your partner, children, and even pets are welcome to join in!
How long does a maternity session last?
Most sessions last 60-90 minutes, depending on the number of outfit changes and locations. I’ll make sure we have plenty of time to get a variety of beautiful shots.
Planning and preparation
What should I wear for my maternity session?
Flowy dresses, fitted gowns, and soft, neutral colors work beautifully to highlight your bump. I recommend avoiding busy patterns and opting for something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. I can also provide wardrobe recommendations!
Should I get professional hair and makeup done?
While it’s not required, professional hair and makeup can enhance your natural beauty and give your photos a polished look. If you’d like a recommendation for a makeup artist, I’d be happy to connect you with one!
What should I bring to my session?
I recommend bringing:
Any outfit changes
Comfortable shoes for walking between locations
Meaningful props (ultrasound photos, baby shoes, or a special heirloom)
Water and light snacks, especially if we’ll be shooting outdoors
During the Session
I’m not sure how to pose—will you help?
Absolutely! I’ll guide you through natural, flattering poses that highlight your bump while making you feel relaxed and beautiful.
What if I feel uncomfortable in front of the camera?
That’s totally normal! I'll help create a laid-back, fun atmosphere where you can feel at ease. My goal is to make you feel confident and capture genuine, beautiful moments.
editing and delivery
How long does it take to receive my maternity photos?
Editing typically takes 2-3 weeks, but I’ll provide an estimated delivery date at the time of your session. If you need a rush order, let me know!
Will I get to choose which photos are edited?
Yes! I’ll send you a proof gallery so you can select your favorite images for final editing.
Do you retouch maternity photos?
Yes! I provide natural retouching to smooth skin, remove distractions, and enhance the overall image while keeping everything looking authentic. If you have specific requests, let me know!
How will I receive my final images?
You’ll receive high-resolution, edited images in a private online gallery where you can download, share, and order prints.
Special Requests and Customization
Can I do a maternity + newborn package?
Yes! I offer bundled packages for maternity and newborn sessions so you can document both beautiful milestones at a discounted rate. Let’s chat about the best options for you!
Can I request a specific location for my maternity session?
Absolutely! Whether it’s a beach, park, or a meaningful spot, I’m happy to shoot in a location that’s special to you. If you need suggestions, I have a list of great spots!
Do you offer milk bath or artistic maternity sessions?
Yes! If you’re interested in a unique or styled maternity session—such as a dreamy milk bath setup or artistic silhouette portraits—let’s discuss your vision!
Can I include cultural or sentimental elements in my session?
Of course! Whether it’s traditional attire, meaningful props, or a theme that represents your culture or story, I’d love to incorporate elements that make your session special.

What is your pricing for commercial photography?
